1. Who publishes this site
5th Echelon Media is the publisher of this website. Advertising and commercial partnerships may help support its work. Read about the publisher, leadership, and the funding information currently disclosed on our editorial responsibility page.
Google advertising does not imply that Google endorses this publication, its views, any creator, or any particular article. Google alone determines AdSense account and site approval.
2. Advertising is not editorial endorsement
Display advertisements are paid placements, not newsroom recommendations. An advertiser does not receive the right to change unrelated reporting, suppress a correction, or require favorable coverage by purchasing space.
Sponsored articles, commercial partnerships, affiliate relationships, and material financial interests must be disclosed clearly with the affected content. Such disclosures must not be hidden only in a general policy. Reporting, analysis, and opinion must remain distinguishable from paid promotion.
3. Which pages may carry Google ads
Our ad loader is limited to public article pages that have passed an explicit publisher ad review. A saved review records the reviewer, review date, and the version of the article reviewed. Changes to the article or its editorial evidence invalidate that approval until it is reviewed again.
- The editor must assess originality, meaningful reader value, factual context, and the rights to text and images.
- The article needs a recorded editorial label, supporting source links, and an accurate assistance disclosure.
- Editors must review Google Publisher Policies and Publisher Restrictions, including copyright, dangerous content, deceptive claims, and sensitive material.
- Copied feeds, thin rewrites, unsupported AI output, or an embedded video alone do not become eligible merely by receiving a title or source link.
Our internal text-length check is only a review guardrail, not a Google minimum or a guarantee of quality or approval. We do not automatically certify the accuracy, rights, or originality of our catalog.
Account and sign-in screens, workspaces, admin pages, tools and download flows, legal pages, error pages, and articles without a current review do not initialize our AdSense tag. Excluding a page from our ad loader does not make otherwise prohibited site content acceptable under Google's policies.
4. Reader experience and invalid traffic
Ads must remain distinguishable from editorial material and must not be presented as download buttons, navigation, alerts, or editorial recommendations. We do not ask readers to click ads to support the site, promise rewards for ad interactions, or permit manufactured impressions or clicks.
Ad density must not overwhelm publisher content. Publishers configuring Google Auto ads must avoid intrusive formats and maintain appropriate page exclusions. Report an intrusive, misleading, or inappropriate placement through our contact page, with the page URL and a description.
5. Privacy and Google consent
Our implementation requests non-personalized Google ads. Non-personalized advertising can still use cookies for measurement, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. Google ad loading requires your site advertising choice and the applicable Google consent information; ads stay off when those checks cannot be completed.
The site cookie panel is not a certified consent management platform. Google's separate certified Privacy & messaging consent service must be available where required, including relevant protections for the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep our analytics and ad loading off.
. Read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for providers, cookies, opt-outs, and privacy rights.
6. Corrections, copyright, and complaints
Editorial concerns are handled independently of advertising. To request a correction or report a rights issue, include the article URL, the disputed passage or material, and supporting information. Our Content Policy and corrections process explain the expected standards.
For advertising questions or complaints, use Contact or email contact@5thechelon.com. Ads and sponsorships may be declined or removed when they conflict with these standards.
